Exciting Changes to Our Youth Clubs!

We are making some positive changes to our youth clubs!

Following feedback and requests from the children who attend, we have decided to separate our youth clubs into different age groups to help create an even better experience for everyone.

The children have told us that they would like to spend more time with others of a similar age, enjoy activities suited to their interests and have more opportunities to develop friendships.

We have listened, and we are excited to introduce the following sessions starting this week.

🌟 Our New Youth Club 🌟 Timetable

Wednesday | 5:00pm – 6:30pm
Years 1–4

Thursday
Year 7 and above

Friday
Years 5–6

Why Are We Making These Changes?

By separating the sessions into age groups, we hope to:

- Provide activities that are more suitable and enjoyable for each age group.
- Give children more opportunities to make friends with others their own age.
- Allow our youth workers to build closer relationships with the children.
- Provide more focused support, encouragement and guidance.
- Give everyone a better opportunity to get involved and have their voices heard.

Most importantly, these changes have come from listening to the children and responding to what they feel would make their youth club experience better.

We want our youth clubs to be places where every child feels welcome, valued, included and excited to come along.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to our new age-group sessions!

🎃👻 Happy Halloween, Wyre Forest!

Across the district today, witches, wizards, ghosts, skeletons, vampires, black cats, and little pumpkins will be out making Halloween memories.

Families will be carving pumpkins, decorating their homes, sharing treats and enjoying time together.

Over the last couple of weeks, we've shared ideas to help make Halloween more affordable, creative and sustainable, from swapping and reusing costumes to making decorations at home and bringing out old favourites year after year.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us and shared their ideas along the way.

Whether you're heading out trick-or-treating, attending a Halloween event or enjoying a spooky evening at home, we hope you have a safe and enjoyable Halloween.

If you need treatment for a minor injury such as a small cut, Minor Injury Units (MIUs) are the best place to go.
