A huge thank you to Heart of Worcestershire College for their incredible support of Wyre Forest & South Worcestershire Nightstop alongside Redditch Nightstop through their fundraising activities on Thursday 11th June.

Throughout the day, students and staff took part in a range of fundraising events, culminating in a fantastic Stay Out event on campus in the evening. Their enthusiasm, commitment and generosity will help us continue supporting young people facing homelessness and housing insecurity.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who got involved, donated and helped make the day such a success. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people across our community.

Thank you so much to The Stourport High School & VIth Form College for raising £144 in support of Nightstop through a charity football match. The event was organised by 10SMC, with teachers taking part in the game. It was a fantastic event, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone involved for their enthusiasm and support in helping young people facing homelessness. ⚽♥️🏠

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for: Nightstop in Action at Churchfields yesterday.

It was fantastic to welcome local organisations, councillors, supporters and community partners to learn more about how Nightstop is helping to prevent youth homelessness across the Wychavon and Malvern Hills districts and throughout Worcestershire.

We were grateful for the opportunity to share the impact of our early intervention and prevention work, and to have so many positive conversations about how we can work together to support young people at risk of homelessness. 🏠

We’ve got places available in both the 10K and Half Marathon, and while it might feel like it’s a while away – now is the perfect time to start training and set yourself a goal ❤️

It’s a fantastic local event and a brilliant way to get active while supporting young people experiencing homelessness. 🏠

By running for Nightstop, you’ll be helping us provide emergency accommodation and vital support when it’s needed most.

What a fantastic day at the Volunteer Fair at The Guildhall in Worcester on Friday! ❤️🏠

A huge thank you to Worcester Community Action for organising another brilliant event and bringing together so many amazing charities, community groups and local residents.

We met lots of wonderful visitors who were interested in our services supporting local young people, learned more about volunteering and hosting opportunities, and had some great conversations throughout the day. It was also a pleasure to connect with fellow organisations making a difference across Worcestershire.

We'll be in touch this week with everyone who expressed an interest in hosting – thank you for your enthusiasm and support! ❤️

We were also delighted to catch up with the Mayor of Worcester, Tor Pingree, and hear about her plans for the year ahead.

📢 Join us this Thursday at Churchfields Farm for Nightstop in Action – an opportunity to learn how we're helping to prevent youth homelessness across the Wychavon and Malvern Hills districts and throughout Worcestershire.

Hear directly from young people who have been supported by our services, learn more about our homelessness prevention work, and discover how local businesses, organisations, councillors and community members can help make a difference.

You'll hear about:

✔ Mediation and educational programmes
✔ Our new upstream prevention project with Centrepoint
✔ Opportunities to support young people locally

🌿 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and supported David and Veronica's Open Garden Event in Bewdley in aid of Nightstop this weekend.

David and Veronica organised the entire event and generously opened their beautiful wildlife-friendly garden to visitors, helping to raise vital funds for young people experiencing homelessness. ❤️

Despite the rainy weather, the day was a fantastic success. Our team was delighted to meet the Mayor of Bewdley, Sharon Harvey, and speak with so many people who came along to support the event.

We're thrilled to announce that, so far, the event has raised over £1,500 for Nightstop – an incredible achievement and a testament to the generosity of everyone who attended.

Thank you to everyone who donated, enjoyed refreshments, bought plants and books, and helped make the day such a success. A special thank you once again to David and Veronica for their hard work, generosity and continued support of Nightstop.

🌿 Today is World Environment Day – and what better way to celebrate than by planning a visit to a beautiful wildlife-friendly garden this weekend?

Tomorrow’s Open Garden Event in Bewdley is part of SusFest 2026 and also takes place during Volunteers’ Week – a celebration of the incredible contribution volunteers make in our communities.

A huge thank you to two of our amazing volunteers who organise this event every year ❤️

David and Veronica are opening their stunning garden, which is managed with wildlife in mind, featuring pollinator-friendly planting and no use of pesticides – a true haven for nature.

Entry is free, with donations welcome in support of Nightstop, helping provide emergency accommodation for young people experiencing homelessness.

Come and meet the Nightstop team tomorrow at the Worcester Volunteer Fayre, organised by Worcester Community Action at the The Guildhall Worcester from 10am–2pm. We'll be joining 24 other fantastic local organisations celebrating the amazing contribution volunteers make to our communities.

Come and say hello – you'll find us outside under our Nightstop gazebo, ready to chat, come rain or shine! ☔☀️
