💔 INDY'S SPECIAL PLEA – ALL HE WANTS FOR CHRISTMAS IS A HOME 💔

Imagine spending your whole life knowing nothing but kennels. Never having your own cosy bed, never knowing the comfort of a loving home, never having someone to call your very own.

7 year old INDY retired from racing back in 2022, yet, heartbreakingly, kennel life is still all he has ever known. He has been in kennels since before arriving with us in September, and now Christmas is creeping closer. Another year of cold kennel nights, another Christmas spent watching other dogs find their forever homes, and still… nobody has picked up the phone to ask about him.

Indy is a sweet, gentle boy who really doesn't ask for much. He is just looking for new adventures adventure and excitement, somewhere to call home, a comfy bed to curl up in, his very own family and someone to show him what it feels like to finally belong.

Indy would like to be the only dog in the home, and no small furries, older children could potentially be good for him, provided they understand that Indy deserves kindness, patience and to be treated like the special boy he is.

We won't pretend Indy is looking his very best right now. Bless his heart, he's underweight, has some areas of hair loss and is very much in need of TLC. But underneath those scruffy patches and that skinny little bum is a beautiful boy who deserves the chance to find his happiness not behind kennel bars. With the right home, lots of food (he's already on 4 meals), walkies and plenty of love, we know he will be a different boy!

We don't know what Indy has missed out on in life, but we know what he deserves from now on.

He deserves a sofa. He deserves a family. He deserves a Christmas where he isn't sleeping behind kennel doors. He deserves to know that someone, somewhere, chose HIM. ❤️

Please, can we make this Christmas the one where Indy's story finally changes?

Yo ho ho peeps CHEDDAR cheese here again! HELP REQUIRED!!! Me and baby BELLA have decided to team up and beg everyone to share our posts and get us the heck out of here! I told her to sit up straight with no slouching, look super pretty and gorgeous like me, gaze directly at the camera and smile - well she got the sit bit I suppose 🤣 And I'm not even going to mention the staff - how hard is it to keep your eyes open in official photo shoots folks???
Not sure what either of us need to do to find a home so we need some suggestions please! What does everyone think we need to do or what do you want to see more of - ideas on a postcard please (well don't actually send a postcard just comment below!)

2 year old Terrier DINO has come into us as a stray so no previous history but he has certainly made himself known to everyone! He is the friendliest pup and thinks everyone needs to say hello to him, both humans and dogs alike. This chap runs on duracell batteries - always on the go and looking out for his next adventure although adores his snuggle time. He loves everything that life has on offer whether that is zooming around the playpen, tossing a toy around, meeting new friends or exploring. Dino has been good around other dogs and has been around cats. Could live with children over 5.

Massive thank you to Jollyes Kidderminster - The Pet People with another load of fab food that customers have donated into us - this time it is Festive Feast and the dogs are loving it! Another great amount from the wonderful customers of Tesco's and Morrisons - our doggies will be very well fed for sure!

New boy JACK the Lab would like to say hello to everyone 👋 At only 10 months old he has found himself with us from a private home where his heartbroken owner had absolutely no choice but to give him up :( We cannot put the reason on here but trust us when we say there was no option. Jack is slowly finding his paws here although as you can imagine he is a little overwhelmed still bless him but his tail is still wagging. He is trying to keep his chin up and is already making new friends and will be on the lookout for his forever home as soon as possible. We can take applications now but he won't be ready for another week or so but if we can get a head start that would be amazing :) Please request your adoption form via email

Huge apologies for the belated thank you on this one but we have the biggest shout out to Karen Mulholland and her family for the donation of a gigantic air cooler 🥶 Yes we are coming into winter but our pups will be ready for any heat wave that comes our way next year. Dino thought it was some alien spaceship and he isn't a tiny dog so you can see how enormous it is! Thank you so much once again for your kindness and generosity - we are blown away (or will be in the heat for sure🤣)

Nellie Noopers, Smelly poppers,
Has been with me a year,

Little 12-18 month old KORA has flown through her assessment and is 100% ready to leave the confines of kennels and start her new life with her forever family!

Since day 1 of arriving with us Kora has been an utter delight, so happy to see us and anyone new willing to say hello to her, she is such a sociable little butterfly with her tail always wagging, though sometimes her enthusiasm does take over as she can't keep all four feet on the floor wiggling and jumping about so desperate to see you!

On the lead she isn't the best but she certainly is not the worst, she can be all over the shop sniffing left right and center but if given a bit more lead she won't ever pull your arm off, unless a pheasant runs out in front of her and hurtles down the field, then she is likely to chase and pull.

Kora is great with other dogs, she is always happy to meet any dog big small and any kind of breed, sometimes certain dogs aren't particularly fond of her as she can be a bit over the top, bopping them on the head and straight in their face to say hello.. but she has no malice just a need to curb her enthusiasm.

In the playpen her first top priority is to sniff the perimeter to see who's been about, then it's time for a bit of a play and lastly and most importantly cuddle time where she will stand on her hind legs with her font paws on your lap leaning right in close for proper cuddly hugs.

Kora would benefit a bit of training on her leadwork, recall and commands but she really does have a beautiful temperament and will make a family an extremely lucky one to have her!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE 🐈‍⬛🎃 👻💀🙀
Think staff were having far too much fun dressing up for this years freaky festivities but the dogs put a very brave face on (good job they knew who was behind the mask!) Marshal wasn't feeling it but was happy to take part with his pumpkin toy 🎃 Most are still waiting for their furever homes to come along so why not let join in the haunting hilarities in the meantime 👻
