Yesterday we held our First Long Distance Gala of the year.

We had 44 Swimmers compete, 3 of those heats were swimmers who had never taken on the challenge of a 1500m Freestyle before.

What did impress us was everyone’s splits that remained constant throughout such a long distance.

Congratulations to our swimmers who got on the podium with fantastic results.

Well done to everyone who smashed their PBs and for those that never thought that distance was possible, you’ve proved to yourself it is.

Thank you to all officials, volunteers and coaches. Another Kendal ASC Club Championship Gala to be proud of.

Thanks to those who come an hour before and go home an hour later to help rigg the pool and derigg. It is really appreciated.
