Kendal Branch Royal British Legion Br1434 We are Kendal Branch of the Royal British Legion our meetings take place the third Tuesday every other month at Kendal cricket club.

We meet for breakfast on the second Saturday of the month at a local hostelry.

Highly successful Turning of the Leaves today at Kendal Parish church.

The ceremony was conducted by Rev'd Canon Shanthi Peiris with Peter S, Mike R, Paul M, Ray B and John H Turning the Leaves.

Our VIP was Mrs S Villiers-Smith DL (whose son is currently serving).

We were joined by Year 5 pupils from Vicarage Park School and several other veterans.

Thank you. The next Turning of the Leaves will be 1200 Friday 10th July.

We were joined by Col (Rtd) Chris Sanderson DL, Tim Farron MP and Mayor Richard Sutton.
