Yewbarrow Launch Event Drop In

We’d like to invite you to our Yewbarrow Launch Event, where we’ll be sharing details of our new homes planned for completion from Spring 2027. This is a drop in session where you can find out more about our new social rent and shared ownership homes, and get helpful advice from our team.

🏡 Exciting progress at Yewbarrow, Grange-over-Sands!

The redevelopment is progressing well, with the new shared ownership homes expected to be ready for residents to move in from Spring 2027.

South Lakes Housing will be providing a mix of Social Rent and Shared Ownership homes, helping people put down roots and thrive within their community.

As a key rural housing provider, we're proud to be celebrating the National Housing Federation's Rural Housing Week.

Last week, we welcomed 73 local people to our Briery Bank community consultation in the rural community of Arnside. Thank you to everyone who came along and shared their views, your feedback will help shape our plans.

Nelson Street is Underway!

It’s great to see works begin on our Nelson Street development in Lancaster.

Delivered in partnership with Lancaster City Council and Tyson Construction, and supported by Homes England, this development will create 39 affordable homes for the community of Lancaster.

We’re looking forward to sharing the journey over the coming months.

Great to welcome Homes England and to our Yewbarrow site last week 👷‍♂️🏡

Good progress is being made, and we’re grateful for the funding support which is helping deliver much-needed affordable homes in the local area. Looking ahead, we’re on track for completions in Spring 2027 – we can’t wait to see this new community come to life!
