Huddersfield Light Opera Company is delighted to announce its golden anniversary pantomime, Cinderella, as the company celebrates an incredible 50 years of bringing festive magic to audiences across the region.
Returning to the Lawrence Batley Theatre from 16th to 23rd January 2027, this spectacular production promises everything audiences have come to expect from one of Yorkshire’s most beloved pantomime companies – and much more besides.
Packed with laugh-out-loud comedy, dazzling musical numbers, stunning costumes, and breathtaking scenery, Cinderella will transport audiences into a world of magic, mischief, and romance. From outrageous slapstick and audience participation to magical transformations and glittering theatrical effects, this family favourite has all the ingredients for a truly unforgettable night at the theatre.
While remaining faithful to the traditions that make pantomime such a cherished British institution, Huddersfield Light Opera Company will once again add its own unique twist to the story, delivering a fast-paced and contemporary production packed with surprises, local humour, and plenty of opportunities for audiences to join in the fun.
This landmark production has been written especially for the company by the ever-popular creative partnership of Chris Brearley and Dom Moccia, whose previous pantomimes have delighted audiences year after year.
