Fantastic News for Girlguiding Greenock Division!

We are absolutely delighted that Girlguiding Greenock Division has been awarded £7,500 from Inverclyde Council’s Community Grants Fund.

This is fantastic news for Guiding locally and a wonderful recognition of the opportunities our volunteers provide for girls and young women across Inverclyde.

We haven’t yet received the detailed breakdown or conditions relating to the full allocation, so once this is received, we will take time to consider how the funding can be best used and spread across our Division to support our units, reduce costs where possible and create opportunities that benefit our girls and Guiding locally.

A huge thank you to Inverclyde Council for supporting Girlguiding Greenock Division and recognising the value of youth organisations within our local community.😍

✨🎭 HELP STITCH THE MAGIC! 🎭✨

Behind every fantastic Gang Show is a team of amazing people who make the magic happen and Greenock Gang Show is looking for YOU! ❤️💛

Our Scouting family & friends are looking for willing hands and creative minds to join the Wardrobe Team.

Whether you’re a dab hand with a sewing machine, love a bit of mending, are great at organising, or simply fancy learning something new, there’s a place for you!

Every stitch helps bring the show to life! 🎭✨

Our heartfelt condolences from everyone at Girlguiding Greenock to our fellow Scouters, and especially to Duncan’s family and friends, following this incredibly sad and sudden loss.

Duncan was a true stalwart of Greenock & District Scouting and the wider community. His dedication, kindness and friendship will be greatly missed.

Thinking of Kim, Greg, Sophie, Gavin and all the Scouting family at this very difficult time.
