Whether you’re a dab hand with a sewing machine, love a bit of mending, are great at organising, or simply fancy learning something new, there’s a place for you!

Our heartfelt condolences from everyone at Girlguiding Greenock to our fellow Scouters, and especially to Duncan’s family and friends, following this incredibly sad and sudden loss.

Duncan was a true stalwart of Greenock & District Scouting and the wider community. His dedication, kindness and friendship will be greatly missed.

Thinking of Kim, Greg, Sophie, Gavin and all the Scouting family at this very difficult time.

Well done Lily from Larkfield Rangers

The Saltire Awards are Scotland’s national scheme for celebrating young volunteers aged 11–25.

Recently, Lily from Larkfield Rangers was awarded a Saltire Award after logging an amazing 100 hours of volunteering as a young leader with Larkfield Rainbows.

We talked to Lily about her role as a young leader and what it was like earning a Saltire Award.

"If you’re thinking about doing the Saltire Award, go for it! It is a worthwhile investment of your time and effort, and it will pay off in the long run. It is also a very rewarding type of volunteering, and you won’t regret it."
