Ardgowan Hospice was established in 1981 to help enhance the lives of those with a life shortening conditions and their loved ones.

The Hospice cares for more than 500 individuals each year living in Greenock, Port Glasgow, Kilmacolm, Gourock, Inverkip and Wemyss Bay. All services are free of charge.

Join us at The Wee Bookshop tonight, 6pm-7pm. We have local author Coral McCallum joining us once again for an author talk and book signing ✍🏼

Coral released Stronger Within, her debut novel and the first in the Silver Lake series, in 2015 and has published consistently since.

Please bring cash if possible, as Coral is very kindly donating £5 from each sale to Ardgowan Hospice 💜

Between July and September, our passenger transport service carried out 484 journeys!🚗

We can't thank our volunteer drivers enough for all that they do to support the people of Inverclyde, Rothesay and Dunoon.

Our passenger transport service is for anyone receiving treatment or attending vital appointments for a life shortening condition who does not have access to transport from family and friends and would otherwise struggle to get to appointments.

The countdown to Christmas is on, and we are delighted to bring our first-ever Ardgowan Hospice Christmas Fayre to the Greenock Town Hall 🎄⏰

📅Sunday 6th December, 11am until 3pm
🎟Entry £3pp, under 12s free

Let the festive magic begin as you discover a variety of stalls from Ardgowan Hospice and 20 local businesses.

Why not also visit Santa at his pop-up grotto? Santa visits are £5 and include a selection box and a small gift. Time slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis via a check-in desk on the day 🎅🏼

Today from 11am-1pm at our charity bookshop in Gourock, we have fantasy author Jenn Lees visiting as she launches her brand-new book!

Jenn will be selling a collection of her novels, which can be signed, and looks forward to having a chat with local readers and regulars of The Wee Bookshop - Inverclyde ☕

Please bring cash if possible, as Jenn has kindly agreed to donate a percentage of each sale to Ardgowan Hospice.💜

Fundraising Friday spotlight! 🏃‍♂️

Jack Wylie, who raised an incredible £1,587 in memory of his Grandma by taking part in Glasgow's half marathon!

Adam Sutherland, who raised a fantastic £1,290 in the Glasgow to Edinburgh Ultra Marathon! Adam covered 90.1km in an amazing time of 13:41:38 !

A huge well done and thanks to both Jack & Adam for their support.💜

We are looking for an experienced Cook with passion and enthusiasm for creating nutritious meals that meet our patients' needs using fresh, quality produce 🫕

This is an exciting stage in the hospice's development as we begin implementing new models of care, informed by our recently developed strategy, with the patient at the centre of everything we do.
