Volunteers’ Week 2026 starts soon and we’ve got a full week of activities planned across Inverclyde.

Throughout the week we’ll be celebrating local volunteers, sharing stories and highlighting the impact volunteering has across our communities.

💙 Monday: Volunteers' Week launch

💚 Tuesday: Radio special on Clyde Coast Radio (3–5pm)

💙 Wednesday: Visit our Volunteers’ Week stall at West College Scotland, Finnart Street (10am–2:30pm), plus look out for our new Volunteers’ Week comic

💚 Thursday: Free book stall at West College Scotland, Finnart Street (9:30am–1pm)

💙 Friday: Follow our team's Employee Supported Volunteering with RSP Off Grid Adventure Centre and National Literacy Trust

💚 Saturday: Read Travis' volunteering story

A free community event is taking place in Port Glasgow on Thursday 11 June.

Come along to explore local support and opportunities around wellbeing, learning, volunteering and work opportunities.
