A day of community cooperation in the garden, volunteer coordinator Sandra and volunteers David and Wendy teamed up with Inverclyde Faith in Throughcare where David is a support worker to welcome a day of help in the garden, with thanks to the permission of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde the staff, volunteers and participants of IFIT alongside IRH Rainbow Garden volunteers tackled all the big jobs that have been needing done, trimming the massive bushes blocking the patients view of the garden, tackling moss and overgrown areas and painting the benches to bring a bit of colour, an amazing day and a huge help from a great local charity doing great work in the community of Inverclyde.

Volunteers from the garden and staff from the Larkfield unit and the IRH hiked round the cut to raise money for the stroke association, taking part their go purple in May with our purple T-shirts, a fantastic sunny day out and lots of money raised for the stroke association, thank you to everyone who donated and well done to all the hikers!
