Pride in Gloucestershire AGM

Our Annual General Meeting is coming up on Sunday 22 November from 5pm at Patch Gloucester and we’re inviting our community to get involved in the future of PiG! 🏳️‍🌈

We have several roles open for applications this year, including Chairperson, Treasurer and General Trustee positions.

Bisexual people still deal with the same tired stereotypes over and over again.

You’re not confused.
You’re not greedy.
You don’t need to pick a side.
And being in a relationship with someone of one gender doesn’t erase your bisexuality.

Maybe it’s time we retired the bingo card..

A huge post-Pride thank you to Winston’s Wills for sponsoring our Cabaret Stage at Festival of Pride! 💜

From camp classics and incredible performances to plenty of laughs, the Cabaret Stage brought its own energy to Gloucester Park on Saturday.

It was also lovely to partner with a new company whose work has the LGBTQ+ community at its heart. We’re so grateful to Winston’s Wills for supporting Festival of Pride 2026 and helping us bring the Cabaret Stage to life.

Bi Visibility Week starts today.

Bisexual people still face biphobia, bi erasure and the same tired stereotypes; “you’re greedy”, “you just haven’t decided yet” and the idea that being bisexual somehow makes someone less committed, less q***r or less valid.

It doesn’t.

Bisexuality is a valid identity. Whether someone is in a relationship with a man, a woman, someone non-binary, or no one at all.

This week, we’re celebrating bisexual people, challenging the stereotypes and reminding our community that you don’t have to prove who you are to anyone.

We would like to send a massive thank-you to all the venues and attendees of our Pride Week events.

Thank-you to Cheyenne and her team at Gloucester Food Dock for working closely with us to make Pride Week 2026 happen!

Thank-you as well to the team at Gloucester Guildhall for letting us be a part of their ‘Baga Chipz’ event and their screening of ‘Stop! That! Train!’, the team Our House Cocktail & W**e Bar for hosting our Single Mingle, Patch for hosting our Pride Hub day on Sunday, the team at Roots & Seeds Cafe Kitchen for hosting our Crafteoke evening, ran by the wonderful Brydie from Paint Pot Parties, Steve and the team of Gloucester Games Pride for running a board games evening during the week aswell as their relaxed after-party on Saturday night, and finally to Hop Kettle & the wonderful Quiz Master Andy for hosting our Big Gay Quiz.

The biggest thank-you though is to you, the community, who attended and spread the LGBTQ+ joy across an entire week (9 days) and made it as special as it was!
