The Ball, taking place on February 1st 2025, at Hotel Cheltenham, will help raise funds for two essential blood sampling machines for children staying on the Emily Kent Unit at the Gloucestershire Hospital. 💜

What drove you to try & raise £500k in one year? I often get asked.
Simple answer - to make a difference to children with cancer day to day & their families.

Dr Justine started on the Emily Kent Unit on 29th January this year. We kept quiet about it because we were on the home run towards the £500k on March 10th & didn’t want people to think ‘oh they have done it! They have someone’

If you are a family with more children than the one with cancer - life is tough to try & keep things going as a family unit.

This quote shows that the stress doesn’t finish when the child goes into remission either. Going back to school, being accepted back into the social circle as well as catching up academically all play a part in the mental health of the whole family unit.

There are 3 children in this family & I thank them for all their support. Big shoutout to Mum too who I know has down days but is flippin funny on her social media stories!! More please Mrs B 😂😂

We are still raising money for children with cancer in Gloucestershire to provide equipment & holidays under the umbrella

We are so proud to have won the Charity of the Year Award last night at the Business awards at last night

Emily’s Gift won for the campaign to raise £500k in one year for a psychologist on the Emily Kent Unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for 10 years under the umbrella of 👏

The Appeal was led by who lost her daughter to cancer 30 years ago & has been a Trustee for for 10 years.
