Clark would like to know why he's got nobody booking in to see him! Besides one no-show we've not had a single enquiry for this chunky gorgeous boy.

Look at him! He's scrumptious. You just need to overlook the occasional swipe at your ankles (attention-seeking) and get on his good side and then all this charm is yours to enjoy.

We estimate Clark is around 5 years old. As he came to us as a stray, he can be upset when in a new environment so we expect he will need time and space to adjust to a new home. Someone that won't expect him to immediately be super affectionate would be ideal. You need to w**e and dine him first. Old-fashioned wooing needed! It's going to be a big scary thing to go to a new place and he won't necessarily understand at first what home means 🏡 ❤️

Clark would suit a quiet home with no other pets or children, where he can enjoy a peaceful life and plenty of attention.

He has been with us for a little while now, and quite frankly, he’s ready for his next adventure. He’s not overly impressed with his current accommodation and has informed us that there simply isn’t enough attention to go around. He would very much pre-fur his forever family to hurry up and come whisk him away 🏡 ❤️

To enquire, WhatsApp or text Karen on 07598 752992 or Nikki on 07591 741326. We still have appointments available this Saturday!

I am so heartbroken to share that little Kip is no longer with us 💔

He’d had such a good weekend - he was finally gaining good weight and he was loving just being loved. He liked watching movies with me and hanging out on the sofa. He’d scramble up to snuggle under my chin and tuck his ears in when it was nap time. But yesterday his belly started to swell and he was looking uncomfortably bloated, and he was struggling to toilet. Off to the vets we went again, and they gave him an x-ray, just in case. The worst news. His stomach was surrounded by fluid and his bowels weren’t moving. He also had megacolon, a permanent and extensive enlargement of the colon. With all of his existing issues - being so incredibly tiny, being anemic, and very prone to hypoglycemia - it was the final thing that was simply too much.

So it was time to say goodbye. It utterly broke my heart. But he was warm, he was happy, and he was so incredibly loved. And not just by me - by everyone who met him, and most especially the veterinary team that pulled all the stops out to help him.

I feel like I’m having to give a sad update to you too often in my stories, but I know I always take the cases that are most likely to be sad and not by accident! It’s what I’m here for whether it’s possible to win the battle or just be there for them when it’s sadly lost. Each time my heart gets a little more battered, but that’s all right. I’ll always patch it back up to be battle-ready once again, in time for the next kitten that needs it ❤️‍🩹

Kip also gets to help future kittens as he’s leaving a legacy of his very own. His complex case led to innovative veterinary work that I know will be able to help another kitten one day. And maybe that time it’ll be the thing that tips the balance and that battle will be won. Just how amazing will that be?

Thank you to everyone who came and supported and spoke to us today. We are overwhelmed with your generosity.

The purchases from the stall, monetary and food donations were amazing.

Sorry to anyone who turned up to see us from 2.30pm onwards, there was a paperwork mix up, which meant we were asked to leave earlier than we had planned.

We're still here!

Pumpkin (called Kip for short, which is also short for Kipling (jam tarts!) because jam saved his life lol) is chugging along! Gaining weight at the pace of a snail but he is making tiny steps in the right direction. Giving me the stare from the incubator if I'm even a little late for his feeding time.

Every day feels like a small victory. It's very slow progress and we're not out of the woods at all, but he's bright and happy in himself 🥰 Kip loves cuddles and chin rubs and he rather approves of his snazzy new knitted jumper ❤️

Min is a super quirky fun-loving character looking for her new home. She is happy and sweet-natured, and has an endearing roly-poly body on top of short little legs. She isn’t the most confident jumper and instead hoists herself up onto things on her belly, but she does like to find a perch to watch out the window! She loves watching birds and squirrels, and will happily stare at Cat TV if you pop it on for her.

Min has a special diet she would need to stay on, but she has a real penchant for stealing other cats’ food if it’s available! So she needs to be an only cat (unless you happen to have a cat eating exclusively Royal Canin Sensitivity Control, or you have or are willing to get microchip feeders to keep things separate). Ideally an indoor cat otherwise she’ll be off thieving before you know it and making herself ill like an idiot. No self-control at all. Consequences? Never heard of them.

Min enjoys watching the outside world though, and rolling around in sunny patches. If you have or plan to have a catio or secure garden - though absolutely not essential, she’d probably love that! She has a habit of being shy with new people, but give her just a little time she will own you completely. In the evenings, it is lap time. Risk sitting on the sofa only if you are ready to sit for a while! She will snuggle in, purr, and occasionally drool with joy. She has the tiniest little squeak of a voice, and loves chasing dangly toys. She is sure to charm you entirely, just like she has with all of us.

The Important Stuff:
🐾 Only 18 months old
🏠 Indoor only (catio or secure garden access allowed)
🍽️ Special diet
🏥 Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, 4 weeks of free PetPlan insurance
🐈 Can live happily with other pets (BUT MUST STICK TO HER DIET! Please do not apply if you cannot prevent Min gorging herself on the wrong food.)

She’s waited a long time for her home to come along and she can’t wait to meet her new people! Interested? To enquire, WhatsApp or text Karen on 07598 752992 or Nikki on 07591 741326.
