Meet our compost crew who today conquered bay one at the garden. Thanks to for clearing the way you will have an empty bay very soon to start filling again. Isn’t this time of year the best? Flowers everywhere, beds planted up, compost piles ready to dig out, produce coming thick and fast, fruits incoming! We have had yet another glorious day of planting (including asparagus), picking (mange-tout, potatoes, lettuces and salad mixes, broadbeans and more) and peopling (not a word) but great gang vibes! All three sites done today, now sleep! Happy weekend all ❤️

Due to delayed funding Project Grow are no longer able to attend the Science Festival with their Kitchen Garden. Both teams at Cheltenham Festivals and Project Grow are disappointed not to be able to work together for this year’s Science Festival, but we’re delighted to already have the ball rolling on what Project Grow’s Kitchen Garden will look like for 2027! We wish a great festival this year!

What a scorcher of a day! We absolutely smashed it despite having to cancel our school session but we did install the sprinkler system in the sponsored polytunnel as well as completely emptied, tidied and repacked the poly tunnel. Thank you to Richard, Annie, Bella and Avery for volunteering despite the weather. Look at the growth…..

What a day! Watered three sites, new compost bays, a sweaty school session, planted squash in the compost, peas, peas and more peas oh and potato’s!

A wet but wonderful day planting out the beds at the garden ready for summer/autumn harvest. All 36 beds are not planted with a whole array of produce including broad-beans, beans, peas, strawberries, cabbages, chards, kales, tomato’s, squash, courgettes, pumpkins, fennels, kohlrabis, turnips, onions and more! Thank you to our team today who braved the rain we achieved a lot! Also the mulberries are coming

Soil + Sarnie + Swing! What an event. Thank you to everyone who came and learnt all about composting, bought plants, harvested salad bags, potted on plants, weeded our site, ate sarnies with us whilst listening to DJ Howard’s swing and Lindy hop session. What an absolute joy. Next one 20th June!
