Celebrating Volunteers’ Week 💙

This Volunteers’ Week 🤍💙❤️💚 we want to take a moment to recognise the incredible people behind Wooden Spoon Gloucestershire.

We are a small but dedicated committee of volunteers, united by a shared passion to make a difference. Alongside our day jobs and busy lives, we come together to organise events, build partnerships, and raise vital funds to support disadvantaged children and young people across our region through the power of sport.

From cricket, golf and fundraising dinners to community events and sponsorship partnerships every initiative is driven by volunteers giving their time, energy and expertise.

What makes it so special is not just what we achieve, but how we achieve it through teamwork, generosity, and a genuine commitment to helping others.

A huge thank you to our committee, supporters, sponsors and everyone who gets involved. We couldn’t do it without you.

Our Wooden Spoon Committee Gloucestershire comprises Lord Bathurst President, Rob York Chairman, Gary Lewis Project Lead, Samantha Pennington Board Secretary, Board Members - Joseph James. Dorian Wragg and Henry York
