We welcome this year's World Mental Health Day's focus on the importance of lived experience in service design and delivery, and strengthening community-based support.

We are very proud of the role Creative Response plays locally, in helping ensure vulnerable people experiencing mental ill-health in our community, have opportunities to engage with creative work and express themselves through art, as well as to connect with others.

Many of our participants have struggled to find a place where they fit into society. They are often experiencing isolation, loneliness, anxiety and other vulnerabilities.
Creative Response is a community where people are accepted as they are, and supported in a positive and nurturing atmosphere.

We embrace mental health awareness everyday in the work we do, but today we share proudly the important work we do and our special community.

If you know somebody who could benefit from working with us, or you are interested in supporting the work we do by donating your time as a volunteer or helping us raise vital funds, you can find out how to do so on our website- https://creativeresponsearts.org/donate-help/

Alternatively show your support by popping along to our affordable art exhibition today, until 5pm, and weekdays for the next two weeks from 11-2, until 23rd October. We will proudly show you our communities work.

Help us keep going and growing and supporting vulnerable adults in our community.

Creative Response benefits hugely from the involvement and support of its volunteers. They are an integral part of the team. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without their wealth of skills, valued time and support.

If you have a keen interest in the arts, believe in the benefits of therapeutic activities and have a love of being helpful, we'd love to hear from you. We have a wide variety of projects, some adhoc, that we always need a helping hand with.

We are currently looking for the following volunteer support.

- to support our art sessions on tuesdays in Haslemere ( term time only)

- Clerk to the board, to take and make meeting notes during our trustees meetings (approx 12 hours a year)

- Ad-hoc graphic design support to help create our branded exhibition posters ( approx 4 designs per year - Annual summer show, Christmas pop up, fundraising event and community shows)

If this sounds like something you'd like to help with please do get in touch! Thank you. 🧡

For an informal volunteer application form email [email protected]

All our volunteers require a clear DBS which we apply for and must provide 2 references.
