Such a thick, sweet, very spicy pickle made from figs and dates. Be ready for the festive season.

Lots of important news so please read to the end and share........

🐈 Saturday's event at Thurcroft was lovely. Lots of returning customers, familiar faces and a very warm welcome. Even the Vicar bought our Pickled onions. I banked over £160 and was home for 1.30pm. Brilliant.

🐈 This Saturday 31st October, myself and Tony will be supporting Thornberry Animal Sanctuary's Halloween Event. I'm sure you all know where it is. Hope to see you there. Details below.

🐈 There is still one place available on each of the 'Christmas gift set making' sessions Thursday 29th October and Thursday 5th November. If you'd like to help, give me a shout. It's 10-2pm at Bramley HQ.
They will be on sale at all events from November.

Looking forward to Thurcroft tomorrow. The weather us not looking favourable, but the event is inside so no getting wet.
Come and join us, stretch your legs and join in the fun........ I'm hoping there's cake 🎂, it says so on the poster.

I'm trying to keep busy and preparing more stock for our first 'gift set making' session next Thursday.

10 now events for me in the run up to Christmas, so things will get even busier.

I'd not mentioned before but, Paul's memorial was such a lovely affair with friends and family. We raised over £600 in his memory for the Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire, thank you. There's still time to add your donation if you'd like.
I know the funds will be gratefully received when i visit again in January.

Important news coming next week. Keep those eyes 👀 peeled.

I'm in desperate need of pasta sauce sized jars for pickled onions. If you have any please, give me a shout or if you could drop them at HQ that stipulation be fantastic.

Also, a couple of weeks ago, a lovely lady offered me some blackberries and I can't seem to locate the message. Could she please get back in touch... I'm sorry but with the events of the past month, I've let things slip a little.

Always wanting more fruit 😩

I've only gone and sourced some free range eggs 🥚. 🎊🎊🎊
This can only mean one thing and it will be available from St James Church, Norton, Sheffield on Saturday.

Remember, it's the early bird 🐦 that catches the curd.

Gearing up for a return visit to Sheffield on Saturday.
Myself and my sister-in-law Sue, will be at St James Church in Norton.
It’s a very busy event for us so if you see us faltering….. a lump of cake wouldn’t go amiss 🍰 😉

I’m on the look out 👀 for pasta sauce jars again please. As Christmas 🎄 approaches, so does the demand for pickles.
I can also reuse our own jars so if you’re a regular, please return them. It makes an extra 60p on each sale. Thank you.

Our window 🪟 of opportunity will be open in a few weeks so get your thinking caps 🧢 on. It’ll be down to you followers….to tag in your favourite animal charity in South Yorkshire

It's a beautiful autumn day and I'm off to support Sheffield RSPCA at their Halloween event. 10am til 2pm.

I have lots to try before you buy, including Fig jam and.... I'm continuing to make proper pickled onions which is my least favourite job (although I do moan to Paul every time, hoping he can hear me)

I've also shared a photo from the Barnsley Chronicle that appeared this week. It appears that I didn't know the photo was being taken, which is obvious 😂😂

I'm still in the look out for a couple of helpers to assist at the gift set making sessions on Thursday 29th October and also for Thursday 5th November 10-2pm. Drop me a message please if your up for the challenge.
Also continuing to scrounge for rolls of unwanted Christmas wrapping paper please.

Lots to tell you about…..nowt new there then eh??

This is where you’ll find us this month. It’s always busy this time of year, and I’m trying to keep myself as busy as possible. It’s helping to keep me focused at the moment.

☀️Sunday 11th October I will be heading for Sheffield RSPCA to support their Halloween event. 10am til 2pm. Full address, Stadium Way S9 3HN.

☀️ Saturday 17th October, you’ll find myself and sister in law Sue at Norton St James’ Church. Sheffield

☀️ Saturday 24th October, St Simon & St Jude’s Church, Thurcroft

☀️ Saturday 31st October, myself & Tony will be at Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

❤️❤️ Paul’s memorial will be on Thursday 8th October 2-7pm at The New York Tavern S60 1BD. Anyone that knew Paul and would like to come along is more that welcome. It would be really lovely if we could fill the place ❤️❤️

☀️ I spoke previously about a couple of ‘gift-set making sessions’ to be held at HQ in Bramley. The dates I’ve decided on will be Thursday 29th October and Thursday 5th November 10-2pm. I already have a few names but if you’d like to help out, then please let me know via a message. I’ll need 8 people in total (4 for each day).

☀️ also, if anyone has any unwanted rolls of Christmas wrapping paper, tubs of Celebration Chocolates or fancy ribbon that they like to donate please….they would be gratefully received. These will be used in our gift sets.
