The weather is shifting 🌦️ and it’s Back To School 📚 time! Thank you for your kind donations over the summer 🤗🙏. It can be a really difficult time for families with school-age children, and we appreciate your continued support. ❤️

This week, there are only two repeat items: instant coffee and decaf tea bags.

MANY items are available for £1 or less (marked 🪙) at Sainsbury’s &/or Tesco:
Tinned Beef Ravioli £1, Tinned Spaghetti Hoops/Rings/Strands 19p, Gluten-Free Snacks 57p, Sugar 75p, Angel Delight 85p, Pasta Sauce 49p, Washing-Up Liquid 62p, Antibacterial Cleaning Spray 79p.

The items over £1 are Instant Coffee £1.15, Decaf Tea £1.39, Jelly £1.15 and Stock Cubes £1.10.

Kids’ favourites are marked 🚸.

Thanks to your kind donations last week, only Coffee and Gravy Granules reappear this week. 🤗🙏 Unusually, only half of the Urgent List items 👀📸📝 are available unbranded at Tesco &/or Sainsbury’s for less than £1: Ketchup 73p, Gravy Granules for Meat/Veg 40p/65p, Jam 49p, Men's Deodorant 75p & Microwave Rice 55p. The remaining items are: Tinned Curries £1.49, Tinned Chilli £2, Tinned Corned Beef £2.20, Decaf Tea £1.39 & Regular Instant Coffee £1.15.
If your budget allows, please buy one of the more expensive items rather than multiple lower cost items.
Your support is vital to ensure everyone in our community can put food on the table.

MOST items are available for 95p or less (marked 🪙) at Sainsbury’s &/or Tesco: Tinned Fruit 49p, Tinned Custard 44p, Bags of White Rice 500g/1kg 63p/52p, UHT Whole Milk 95p, Tomato Ketchup 73p, Angel Delight 85p, Gravy Granules 65p, Scourer Sponges 40p, All-Purpose Cleaning Cloths 85p, Washing Up Liquid 62p.

The two items over a pound are Jelly Blocks £1.15, and Instant Coffee £1.15.

Can you help support local families in crisis?🙏🤗 Our donation boxes are never as full in August, but demand remains high, especially with kids not receiving free school meals in the summer. Your response to our first ever call for teabags was great! But we still have none in reserve,😔 so we’ve added it again this week. Although donations were good last week, we still have 4️⃣ repeats. We’d be grateful for any support you can provide. Every item this week 👀📸📝 is available for 95p or less at Sainsbury’s &/or Tesco: UHT Milk 65p/95p, Instant Noodles 30p, Instant Pasta 50p, Packet Sauces 60p, Tinned Rice Pudding 39p, Mayo 85p, Jam 49p, Shampoo or Conditioner 79p, Washing Up Liquid 62p & Normal Teabags 80p.

Open to all, any profits raised by the lunches is donated to local charities and concerns. ❤️ 👏 Many thanks to the Mission & Outreach Committee for selecting us to receive a cheque for £4️⃣0️⃣0️⃣. EVERY item is available for 95p or less at Sainsbury’s &/or Tesco: Instant Noodles 30p, Baby Food 95p, Sugar 75p, Mayo 86p, Bleach 70p, Sardines 60p, Pasta Bake Sauce 69p, Teabags 80p Shampoo 79p & Conditioner 79p.

Donations were improved last week, which we’re incredibly grateful for. 🙏🤗 Amazingly there are no repeats at all from last week. 👏 Our current Urgent List 👀📸📝 includes 3 items over £1: Cooking Oil £1.45, Hot Chocolate £1.45 & *Black Bin Bags £1.25. The other items range from 19p to 95p, unbranded at Sainsbury’s &/or Tesco: Tinned Custard 44p, Tinned Spaghetti 19p, Mayo 86p, Ketchup 73p, Angel Delight 95p & Brown Sauce 92p.

*Rolls of Bin Bags will be split to ensure each household receives the number they require.
