Committed to becoming a carbon-neutral organisation by 2030, to cover scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, including an earlier target of 2025 for all scope 1 and 2 emissions. Conduct annual carbon audits to establish and subsequently monitor the Councilโs carbon footprint. Next audit due May 2020 Develop, adopt, maintain and review annually a Carbon Reduction Plan. Established a budget for environmental grants to encourage and enable carbon reduction and mitigation schemes to improve bio-diversity within Godalming. Established criteria for the award of environmental grants. Process for applications and environmental guidance for all grant applicants established.
