- are apparently intended only to anger or belittle others.
- are cut-and-paste from elsewhere or are repeated (especially when advertising
- products or services)
- add nothing constructive to the discussion
- are very long or rambling with no obvious point
- are off-topic and do not add anything constructive to the feed

Users who:

- repeatedly try to anger others
- repeatedly break any of the comments guidelines

Please be aware that any comments made by users that fall under the above categories may be corrected with a polite warning, removed and/or the person blocked, or in extreme circumstances, reported to Facebook. Factually inaccurate posts will be corrected wherever possible. If you post a link, please give a warning for graphic imagery โ€“ we will always do the same. Visitors to this page come from a range of backgrounds with a mix of perspectives, which if positively harnessed can lead to some interesting and inspiring discussions. Opinions will be wide ranging, but please work on the assumption that everyone here is genuinely interested in expressing their compassion for farm animals, raising welfare levels and reducing suffering. Let's be compassionate to animals and each other!

NEW ACTION ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿšซ

Now is a crucial moment to stop Nueva Pescanova from building the worldโ€™s first octopus factory farm.

Nueva Pescanova applied to the Las Palmas Port Authority to build this farm - but they have not provided the detailed Environmental Impact Assessment in time. According to Spanish law, the port authority must now close its file.

Tell the port authority to close the application: https://bit.ly/4tWU8IS
