Next weekend, on Saturday 25 October, our team of 20 runners (and 10 supporters) tackle the Marathon de Chablis in Burgundy, France 🍇🏃♀️
In 2017, we pushed Keta in her wheelchair around the Marathon du Medoc which was the most amazing experience; Keta laughed and smiled the whole way round whilst generously sampling the red! We promised a return to a wine marathon as H**e and Violet were too young back then - this year, they lead the Chablis charge supported by a fantastic group of friends.
Most of us are marathon newbies, but we’ve got no shortage of passion…. for white wine, pushing our limits, and digging deep to raise funds for a cause close to our hearts.
Keta died on the 27th January 2019 from Motor Neuron Disease. She is a legend - adored by us all. We are doing this for so many people who still live with this disease - day in and day out - with very few answers.
