🎉 Quiz Night Tickets Are Now On Sale! 🎉

Get ready for a fabulous evening of fun at Hoe Valley Community Centre, Woking on Saturday 14th November! Gather your team, sharpen your wits, and see who will be crowned Quiz Champions 2026.

🕢 7:30pm – 10:30pm
🎟 £8 per person - includes table snacks and hot snacks at half‑time!

Teams of up to 8 are welcome - book a whole team, a partial team, or come solo and join others on the night. It’s open to ages 14+, so Rangers and Young Leaders are very welcome. Let’s fill the hall and make it a full house!

Why not plan the ultimate Christmas getaway with your unit!?
Weyside still has availability on the weekends of 4th/5th and 11th/12th December.

Dust off the fairy lights and make Weyside into a cozy Christmas camp with games, crafts and Christmas dinner. You could join up with other local units and plan a night for Rainbow and a night Brownies., or have leisurely weekend with Guides and Rangers.

Don't forget it gets dark early so bedtime is easier!

There's nothing better than seeing groups of Scouts and Guides stop off at the museum as part of their walking badges and outdoor adventures. Whether it's a quick explore of the site, a booked education activity, or just a well-earned rest stop along the way, we're always happy to have you.

Family camping for Girlguiding volunteers and Trefoil members is now open for booking at Herons Wey!

You can book an available campsite site up to 8 weeks in advance, so the start of the summer holidays have just become available. The main hirer must be a Girlguiding volunteer or member of the Trefoil Guild, but you can invite up to 4 families to join you (max 20 people per site)

We would love to improve the cooking fire equipment we have on each of our campsites which our groups use to cook on traditional wood fires. To be a long term solution we are looking to have them made as robust as possible, but that comes at a cost about £400 - £500 per campsite, and we have 7 campsites! If any one would like to support our campaign it would make a huge impact and it will help keep us camp cooking for years to come!

Outdoor cooking is an essential part of Girlguiding and Scouting when camping and Herons Wey campsite would like to replace the alter fires on each campsite to provide a safer outdoor cooking experience for groups staying with us.

It has taken some hard work but after finding a leak in the Alders toilet block we had to rethink the solution. We are pleased to say Alder’s new toilet block is now ready for use!
