Bishop Sean, Bishop of Cyprus and the Gulf whose Diocese includes Yemen has asked for prayers in a letter to the Diocese.
Please join Bishop Sean prayer for the staff and patients of the Ras Morbat Eye Clinic in Aden, its
director Mansour Yousuf and the people of Yemen.
Last night Mr Yousuf shared news of a Houthi missile attack on a target just two kilometres from
clinic.
“By God's grace, no fatalities have been reported, and everyone at the clinic, including our staff and
their families, is safe and well,” he said.
“Despite these worrying developments, we remain committed to continuing our humanitarian work
and providing essential eye care services to those in need, as long as conditions remain safe.
“We thank God for His protection and continue to pray for peace, safety, and stability in Aden and
throughout Yemen.
“God bless you, and thank you for your continued prayers and concern.”
