Happy Easter!

The weeks leading up to the Easter weekend have been full of little treats and surprises. We had the bunny visit space2play and Easter crafts during our free holiday club.
..the Easter bunny even left eggs hidden amongst our tools for our adult volunteers. 🐰💛

We're celebrating National Lottery Open Week 2026 by inviting people to a tour and cup of tea in the garden!

Just come along on this Thursday 12th March between 10.30-12pm with your National Lottery ticket and we'll give you a tour of the garden with a cuppa and you don't have to lift a spade!

The National Lottery Community Fund supports much of what we do from our space2play forest style nursery, to the Teen wellbeing groups. From our adult Men in Sheds and gardening groups to our parenting sessions. 💙

One man's mud is another man's...muddy treasure!

First picture shows a space2play attendee carrying out the highly important and underrated task of harvesting mud, crucial for the mud kitchen...

Second picture shows the garden volunteers wellies whilst they try and dig trenches for irrigation systems! Less helpful as it's like gardening with ankle weights on. 💪🏼

We sometimes get asked if our groups run all through the year...We run our Young Carers groups once a month & they are hosted in the late afternoon so during winter it can be dark. The children absolutely love them. It starts light but the sessions end in the dark with fire pit circles, glow bands and head torches.

The sessions help with relationships, self-esteem, purpose and optimism. So important for young people who sometimes have a lot on their plate.

Thankyou to Thriving Communities fund for supporting these sessions.

And the evenings are beginning to get lighter! 💚
