In 1926, Lauriston Castle was bequeathed to Scotland by its last private owners, Mr. and Mrs. William Robert Reid. We're marking the centenary of the bequest with a series of six special film screenings of titles both made and set in the 1920s, starting with Buster Keaton in 'The General' (1926) - https://www.facebook.com/mediascot/events

Edinburgh Futures Institute have launched a pilot programme of moving image work that was originally co-commissioned by Aberdeen Performing Arts and New Media Scotland’s Alt-w Fund. First up is ‘You Are Here’ (2019-2025) by ray interactive which can be seen on level 2 through to the end of January 2026. Admission is free.

A series of evocative and colourful patterns inspired by the stars are on display at Edinburgh Futures Institute, following the launch of "You Are Here."
