🫀 This week marks Organ Donation Week in the UK, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and the need to increase the number of people on the NHS Organ Donor Register.

Glasgow Science Centre is delighted to announce that we are working on a collaborative project with the team at the NHS Golden Jubilee Charity and the Scottish Extracorporeal Resuscitation Network (SERN) to redevelop the Heart Research Capsule within our Bodyworks Exhibition.

This has been made possible due to generous donations from both organisations and will allow us to showcase the life-transforming cardiac failure treatment and transplantation surgery carried out at the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank.

Every donation, gift and funding pledge we receive helps us to create memorable exhibits and experiences that break down barriers in STEM education.
