Free summer Impact Arts Edinburgh Programme.

For 14-19yr olds

CASHBACK SUMMER offers a great first steps to meet like-minded young people, learn new skills, improve physical and mental health, build confidence, and form friendships through creative engagement.
Led by a Creative Lead and a Wellbeing and Opportunities Worker, over the course of 5 weeks week, the groups will experiment in a whole range of art forms and enjoy some trips to galleries and museums, exploring themes of heritage.

Where possible, we will support young people to gain a level 3 or 4 SQA unit. At the end of the 5 weeks, we host a celebration event to showcase all their amazing works.

This is a free course, all materials, food and public transport costs are provided.

🌟 Good luck to our amazing 6VT Cairn Team! 🌟

Tomorrow night they will represent 6VT at the National Youth Work Awards as finalists in the Health & Wellbeing category, sponsored by Public Health Scotland.

The 6VT Cairn Service supports young victims and witnesses of crime aged 10 to 25, providing both practical and emotional support. The impact of being harmed by others can be devastating, affecting health, wellbeing, education, relationships and confidence. Through the Cairn Service, our team works tirelessly to support young people's journey through the justice system, in their recovery, helping them rebuild their lives and move forward with hope.

Being shortlisted for a national award is recognition of the dedication, compassion and commitment the team brings to this work every day. We are incredibly proud of the difference they make to the lives of young people and their families across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Whatever happens tomorrow night, being recognised as a national finalist is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the life changing support they provide.

Please join us in wishing the team the very best of luck! 🍀🏆💙
