The Edinburgh and Lothian’s group of Global Justice Now. Global Justice Now is a democratic social justice organisation working as part of a global movement to challenge the powerful and create a more just and equal world. We believe that a better world is possible: a world where our resources and decisions about how they’re used lie in the hands of the many, not the few; a world where resources a

re available to all, not just to those who can afford them. We mobilise people in the UK for change, and act in solidarity with those fighting injustice, particularly in the global south. In January 2015 we changed our name from World Development Movement to Global Justice Now.

Join us outside Scottish Parliament on Thursday 19th June at 3:30pm for a peaceful Protest Picnic to say NO to the Rosebank oil field. We plan to meet MSPs as they leave parliament and ask them to take a stand against Rosebank to protect the future of all our children.

Bring a blanket, some snacks and your voice. This is a family-friendly event to stand up for a future powered by people, not oil.

Rosebank will not lower bills, but it will give more money to oil giants and fuel climate breakdown. We need a fair, green transition, not new fossil fuels.

Let’s stand together for our planet.

Hello there! We are the Edinburgh and Lothian’s group of Global Justice Now.

Global Justice Now is a democratic social justice organisation working as part of a global movement to challenge the powerful and create a more just and equal world. We believe that a better world is possible: a world where our resources and decisions about how they’re used lie in the hands of the many, not the few; a world where resources are available to all, not just to those who can afford them.
