A huge, huge thank you to everyone who helped make ELX 2026 happen!

It was a huge team effort! Thanks again to our bands and musicians, DJs, volunteers, MC, pub quiz masters, photographer, teachers, ceilidh caller, safer spaces, first aiders, hosts, venue staff, sound tech, bakers and everyone else who gave their time.

We’re also so grateful to the ~250 dancers who got tickets and danced the weekend away and to the many, many others who came along to join the parade and outdoor dancing ☀️

For now we’re going to put our feet up but we’ll be back soon with the photos and videos we’ve collected over the weekend.

We have the Snug available at Assembly Roxy from 12pm all day and night too if you want to rest your legs, play a board game or have a chit chat.

Procession to the outdoor dancing will leave at 1pm

Blues After Party Venue: Mash House
Time: midnight to late (it’s close to Greyfriars Kirk so we’ll head there after the band’s last set)

The Welcome Party

Band: Colin Steele’s Kings of Swing
Venue: Greyfriars Kirk
Time: 7-11pm

We’ll also be hosting our mini ceilidh with Sigurd in between band sets 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

You can attend either with a pass for the full weekend or you can get an individual ticket for tonight.

We’re so excited to welcome you all to our beautiful city for a weekend of dancing, live music and fun!

If you haven’t got your tickets yet, a reminder that you can get:
- a full pass £130
- Friday (tomorrow!) welcome party and ceilidh pass £25
- Saturday day pass £60
- Saturday fast feet pass £25
- Saturday ELX ball and after party pass £35
- Sunday pass (pub quiz, teadance, Mama Stew taster class, farewell party) £45
- Sunday farewell party pass £20

We recommend getting ahead of time as some of our venues have limited capacity, but we’re hoping to still be able to offer tickets on the door (card only).
