Excited for our next donation drive at Tescos this coming Saturday!!
Look out for us in store and come say hello.
We have some spaces available if anyone would like to help us out on the day also.
12-2 slot available

Basically it’s standing about and chatting to folk and handing out shopping lists to hopefully get some donations.
These drives really help us stock up on essentials and keep our costs down throughout the year.

Our monthly supply of flavoured noodles compliments of Currie Food and Wines - Keystore - 60 packs of noodles - these are so handy for meals.

Popped back to the hall this eve to replace the pita bread this crow had pecked into! Anyone have a scarecrow we can borrow to deter him from being so cheeky!
He was waiting for my arrival watching from up high and when I arrived he swooped down ! Any tips for kindly deterring him?

Wow how is it June?!!
We need some drivers 🚘🚙🚘 to cover the holidays July & August if you can give a couple of hours per month that would be a GREAT help for us…

Thanks to everyone who came to our AGM on Friday eve - it was a lovely meeting.
Our board of trustees have been re-elected into their roles and we have made a couple of amendments to our constitution.

Wow this popped up on my personal page.
This was 5 years ago.
We are still doing the same with some improvements and tweaks but still offering a great service to families of kids in local schools to ensure no local schoolchild goes hungry.
Thanks SO much to all our donors and supporters and our team of volunteers who keep the wheels turning week in week out.
An amazing achievement 5 years in!
THANKS so much to you all 😌❤️

As a wee reflection on improvements we have made here is a list:
✔️ we supported 3 families initially - grew to around 50 and are now supporting 34 families as of May 2026
✔️ new shelving fundraised for and installed - made a huge difference to the hall and organsation
✔️ new partners - hey girls, Edinburgh Gyle - Morrisons in the Community, Currie Food and Wines - Keystore, Currie Library and many more coming on
✔️ new schools - we started supporting 2 schools and now support both high schools in the area and 4 primaries that feed into them
✔️ we moved to a 3 day working week - added in a Monday for the delivery of fresh fruit and veg and essentials from Asda to allow us to pick and pack on Tues and Wed evenings.
✔️we became a charity on 13th Dec 2023! This allowed us to access more funds available to charities and move to offering gift aid
