A big thank you to this lovely bunch from Ingenico who joined us yesterday to give the Anchor bed, planters and railings on Queensferry Road some much-needed TLC!

The team got stuck in, hair-brushes at the ready to tackle grass seed spread and planting bulbs and bedding plants to brighten up the space now and again in spring time.

This was a joint effort, with Rosyth Community Council providing all the plants and compost, and us providing the manpower! A special thank you also goes to our wonderful EATS volunteers, who help with weeding and watering the displays throughout the year.

Thanks too to the passers-by for their encouraging comments!

Our Apple Day brought the community together to celebrate the harvest, enjoy the orchard and make the most of everything autumn has to offer. 🍏❤️

We were so pleased to welcome around 400 people throughout the day — tasting apples, pressing juice, enjoying the BBQ, taking part in activities, browsing our stalls and simply spending time together.
And most importantly… you helped us raise an amazing £1,054! 🎉🙌
Every pound raised will help support the work we do at EATS and the community activities, projects and opportunities we provide throughout the year.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along, participated in activities, bought something, volunteered, helped behind the scenes or simply shared the event with others. We couldn't have done it without you.
And of course, a massive THANK YOU to our brilliant volunteers and team who worked so hard to make the day happen. 👏
Congratulations to Jill for winning Apple Day Hamper. All winners from our Cooking Competition has been contacted.

The next Art in the Orchard is fast approaching!
Ian is looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday the 4th of October 12pm -2pm and again on the 25th. As always, there'll be drinks and refreshments, a relaxed atmosphere, and no-pressure creativity.
This is a FREE event aimed at adults wishing to improve or practice their skills in a beautiful and friendly setting - no experience needed. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring along your own projects or work.
Booking by messaging the page or sending an email to [email protected] preferred but not essential. Any donations made on the day will go to EATS Greenspaces and will be used towards refreshments and/or art materials.

🍂🎃 Café Inc is back this October break at EATS Hub! 🎃🍂

When the schools are closed, Café Inc provides free, tasty and healthy meals for children, young people and families across Fife. 💚

And this time we’re adding a little Halloween fun! 👻

🍎 THE APPLES ARE READY — COME AND HELP YOURSELF! 🍎

A huge thank you to everyone who respected our “please don’t pick” signs in the run-up to the EATS Apple Festival. We really appreciated you helping us save the harvest for the big day!

Now the festival is over, it’s time to share the bounty. Please feel free to come to the EATS Centenary Orchard any day of the week and help yourselves to apples from the ground, from the trees, as well as the apples we’ve already picked and left out for the community.

Just a little reminder to be gentle with the trees when picking — and please leave the quince and medlar for now. They’re not quite ready yet!

We’ll also be sharing vegetables from the Community Garden — including beans, kale, salad leaves and courgettes. Why not come along to the EATS Community Garden either today or next Tuesday, 10-1pm?

We hope many of you will come along, bring a bag and enjoy the fruits (and vegetables!) of our community’s work.

I can also confirm that Treetots is on tomorrow (Monday 28th September) and apples will be available all week too!

🍎🍂 OUR APPLE DAY FUNDRAISING STALL! 🍂🍎

Our Volunteer Mentor Cat has been busy working with her supported volunteers to create a lovely selection of goodies for our fundraising stall tomorrow!

They’ve been busy making some really special homemade autumnal treats and gifts, including:
🍫☕ Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate
🍎🍫 Caramel and Chocolate Apples
🖼️ Beautiful handmade frames
🍏 Dried apple rings
🎃 Handmade decorative pumpkins
🥫 Homemade chutneys – made with lots of love and perfect for the autumn season!
Everything has been made by our amazing volunteers, and every purchase helps support the work we do across EATS Rosyth. ❤️

So when you come along to Apple Day tomorrow, make sure you pop over and have a look — you might find the perfect little treat, gift or something delicious to take home!
