Did you know that by adopting a pre-loved pair of jeans and a t-shirt instead of buying new, you could save 10,000 litres of water (as well as quite a few pennies!)

Join us at EATS Hub & EATS Living Room Cafe for a climate friendly clothes swap, mini clothes repair café and textile upcycling demos.

Bring along clean, good-quality clothes you no longer wear and swap them for something new-to-you. Alternatively bring clothes that have seen better days and get tips on how to fix them, or if they're too far gone, turn them into something useful or pretty. Give fabrics a second life, help the environment and your local community!

This drop-in event will take place in the EATS Hub on Tuesday 16th June, 2:30-4:30pm and is part of the Fife Climate Festival.

We're delighted to be welcoming the Fife Seed Library for a relaxed, indoor, easy access, seated session at EATS Hub & EATS Living Room Cafe on 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞, 𝟐:𝟑𝟎-𝟒:𝟑𝟎𝐩𝐦. You'll be able to learn all about seed saving for different crops, and get hands on with some seeds that are waiting to be sorted. 🍅Polycrub Community Growing Session: we'll be planting up and moving our tomatoes into the polycrub. Come and see our quad grow planters, ask questions or lend us a hand. If you have any surplus heat loving crops, bring them along to help us fill this amazing new space!
🌱Fife Seed Library Cabinet - located in the EATS Community Garden, open access during our regular volunteering sessions.
🌸 Come and browse our plant stand! We have some beautiful hanging baskets for sale as well as a selection of seedlings.

We currently have a little selection of vegetable seedlings, flowers, and beautiful hanging baskets made by our amazing volunteers available in the EATS Community Garden.

Money raised helps support our project — from buying compost and seeds to keeping everything (volunteers included!) watered and fed throughout the season.

The Fife Seed Library is also still here for the community. Feel free to donate locally grown seeds or collect some to grow at home.

Pop by during our regular volunteering hours (or whenever the gate is open!) and support local growing, local people, and community gardening!

These lovely people from Babcock Rosyth chose to spend their "Be kind day" volunteering with us in the garden. Feedback for these two sessions was very positive as it's always a great day away from the desk, team building, giving back, getting tasks done and learning something new. Pretty much like all of our volunteering sessions! ;)

Nothing beats some relaxed outdoor play! Here some pictures from our last two Treetots sessions. Whilst the little ones get up to so much fun making impressions in clay, cooking mud pizzas with flowers, learning about frogs and much more, the grown ups can make meaningful connections, develop friendships, pick up a few plants or gardening tips.

We are delighted with the new floor in the Polycrub!

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make this happen - and especially to the local companies who supported us along the way:
Materials were supplied by Scotia FM Ltd and MKM Builders Merchant, with the work expertly carried out by Camlay Surfacing & Landscaping. We’re so pleased with the result!

While we were able to offer our afternoon group shelter from the rain there today, repotting nasturtiums and making some delicious pizzas, this space will soon be filled with ripening tomatoes, cucumbers, and other heat-loving crops.

We are also incredibly thankful to the Little Raith Battery, FCCAN and Fife Council for their grant support, which has helped us with various aspects of this project and anyone who has helped prepare the ground or move all the building materials, barrow after barrow.

🌟 We’re really happy to share that EATS Rosyth has been shortlisted for the Social Inclusion Award at the 2026 Volunteering & Voluntary Sector Awards! 🌟

Thank you so much to everyone who nominated us and supports what we do. This means a lot to our staff, volunteers and community. 💚

At EATS Rosyth this includes things like community meals/ Cuppa Club, volunteering opportunities for everyone, access to affordable food, gardening and cooking activities, and creating safe and welcoming spaces for everyone.
Being shortlisted for a Social Inclusion Award means our work is being recognised for bringing people together and helping people feel included in the community, which makes us incredibly proud. 💚

Congratulations as well to all the other organisations and volunteers shortlisted across Fife — there is so much amazing work happening in our communities.
