💚 We’re incredibly proud and grateful to have had Davie as such an important part of EATS Rosyth.
Davie has contributed to EATS Rosyth in so many ways — as a Board member, volunteer, supporter and one of the funders who helped make EATS possible in the first place. His time, knowledge, generosity and passion have made a real and lasting difference to our organisation and the wider community. 🌱🍎
His contribution to EATS Greenspaces has been particularly special, helping our garden and orchard grow into what they are today. We’re genuinely so thankful for everything he has given to EATS over the years.
We’re very sad to see him move to North Berwick and we’re certainly going to miss him enormously. But thankfully, Davie has promised us he’ll come back to volunteer with EATS — and we’re definitely going to hold him to that! 😉💚
Thank you, Davie, for believing in EATS, supporting us from the beginning and for everything you’ve done along the way. We wish you all the happiness in your new home and next chapter.
It’s not goodbye — we’ll see you back at EATS! 🌿🍎💚
Last night (1st September 2026) we gifted long term Rosyth volunteer, and former RCC member Davie Barbour with a token of our appreciation of all the work he has done for Rosyth over many years.
Davie will be leaving us soon to move to North Berwick. He will be sorely missed as an integral part of many of the community projects in Rosyth.
Davie was a leading figure in the set up and organisation of Rosyth Community Market, The Rosyth Gala and EATS Rosyth when he served as a Rosyth Community Councillor. On leaving RCC he continued to be an integral part of both Rosyth Gala and EATS Rosyth. His passion with EATS Rosyth is with the EATS Greenspaces where he worked hard to establish the garden and orchard. Many of the orchard trees have been chosen and nurtured by him.
This is only some of the community projects and volunteer work that Davie has been involved in over the years.
All of us at RCC wish him all the best in his new home.
