DWARF Weekly Tally 2025
Hi all,
Here are the results from the weekly tally I've been keeping.
I only started the first week in February, after people at the AGM suggested doing it (tip o' the hat to Kenny at FDWG) and I missed a few weeks with holidays or illness but with thanks to back up tally keepers I did manage to get info for 39 of the 46 possible weeks.
Top 5
1. Boardgames 284
2. D&D 183
3. 40K 96
4. Bolt Action 91
5. One Page Rules 81
There was a total of 1453 members tallied.
Boardgames
Anecdotally I think Arcs, the Wingspan family, Power Grid and Splendor were the club's favourite.
Games Workshop
2nd place for Bloodbowl influenced by Brian's league, I feel any other year in the last decade BB would still be top 3 but probably not as near to 40K as it was. Will there be a 2026 league?
Wargames/Miniatures games
Bolt Action wins of course, good effort by Gaslands as the Claymore/Carronade team play tested their display games. Also, Simon and my attempts to play nothing but OPR this year has helped it to 2nd place (probably not a fair reflection of its actual popularity).
RPG
Good mix of systems, settings and styles here.
Card Games
Despite a spirited effort by Gundam TCG and Altered TCG, MtG was the most popular.
Spectators
Need a little help on this one from everyone for 2026. I recognise that the people I count as spectators are much more involved on Friday than just spectating. They are helping with rules, talking about painting, or new projects or arranging future games. And often doing what I assume is the most important part, pulling the Bolt Action Order Dice from the bags. So, what better describes them?
Anyway, let us know below what you are excited to be playing in 2026.
