🏠 Roof Project Update 🏠

We're pleased to share that our new roof is almost complete! It's wonderful to see the project progressing so well.

The next phase will be installing the internal ceiling and lighting. This means there will be more contractors on site and a few more skips as the remaining debris is cleared away.

As a charity-run community hall, we couldn't do this without the support and understanding of our local community. Thank you for your continued patience while these essential improvements are carried out. We know the temporary disruption will be worth it, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back to enjoy the finished hall.

We'll keep you updated as the work continues!

Evergreen Hall - Replacement Roof Update -

The replacement roof works are well underway, and we're delighted to see the hall being renovated. 🏡

These improvements are helping to secure the future of this much-loved building for many years to come, and we can't wait to share the finished result with you.

🌸 Spring has Sprung… and the sun has been shining! ☀️

We’re delighted to share some beautiful blooms from the Spring bulbs we had on sale at the Hall during last year’s Scarecrow Festival Weekend. With the sunshine bringing them to life, they’re looking better than ever! 🌼🌷

Alongside these lovely photos, we’ve also received some wonderful feedback from those who planted them – it’s so nice to see them flourishing and brightening up your gardens.

A MASSIVE thank you to Frank! 🎉

Frank completed an incredible 4.5-hour, 15-mile sponsored walk from Parsley Hay to Black Rocks in Wirksworth 🥾🌳 in support of the Evergreen Club’s Raise the Roof fund.

This is his second sponsored walk for the cause—his first raised £200+, and an amazing £250+ has already been pledged for this one! 💰👏

A huge thank you as well to our wonderful members and everyone who sponsored him. Your support means so much and helps bring us closer to our goal.

Founded in the early 1950s and opened in 1960 by the Duke of Devonshire, Evergreen Hall has been a welcoming social hub for over 60 years. Today, we’re working to protect it for the future, with a new roof planned for this summer.

🎉 Thank You for a Fantastic Charity Race Night at the Evergreen! 🐎

Last night was a brilliant evening at Allestree Evergreen Hall, with over 50 people enjoying a night full of fun, laughter and racing excitement – topped off with a novelty pig race! 😁🐷

A huge thank you to Tom at Allestree Fish Bar, who went above and beyond to provide a delicious Fish & Chip supper and generously donated the gift voucher prize for our Lucky Dip. We’re also very grateful to The 189 Bar for supplying the beers for our “Name the Runner of the Meet.” 🍻 Your support is truly appreciated!

Special thanks to our fantastic Club committee for all their hard work behind the scenes and on the night – we couldn’t have done it without you.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. We look forward to seeing you at the next one! 🙌
