Get your bike sorted and checked over this Saturday, 4th April at the Derby Repair Cafe at the West End Community Centre Derby Bike repair volunteers will be available 1-4pm to offer repairs and advice. Other repairs and the community cafe as usual.

JUMBLE SALE 25TH APRIL, 2026.
WEST END COMMUNITY CENTRE
We need your help to fill the Community Centre and raise enough for a brand new cooker for the centre.
This isn’t just about an appliance.
It’s about protecting and strengthening a space that means so much to so many people.
West End Community Centre is home to groups, friendships, laughter, support, including the Community Living Room. It’s a place where people come together. Now it’s our turn to give something back.
What’s happening on the day?
• Jumble bargains galore
• Our famous raffle – and if you’ve ever won one of our hampers, you’ll know £1 is an absolute bargain
• Lucky dip for our younger visitors
• Tea and cake, because no proper community event is complete without it
If you’re someone who creates arts and crafts and would like a table, you can “buy” one for just £5. Every single penny goes directly to the Community Centre (you keep what you make)
We’ll post soon about when we can start accepting jumble donations.
But right now, here’s what we really need:
Call your friends.
Bring your neighbours.
Share this post.
Pop it in your group chats.
Let’s pack the hall. Let’s make it busy. Let’s raise enough for that cooker and show what community spirit really looks like.
This centre is valued, needed, and loved.
