📌Growing Me are creators of an evidence-based, multi-sensory toolkit designed to support children and their trusted adults. Their approach explores Therapeutic Life Story Work through engaging animations, games, and creative activities.

This session is an opportunity for professionals to:

👶 Healthy Beginnings Campaign 👶
A new campaign is supporting parents to be with practical and up-to-date advice on staying healthy both before or during pregnancy.

📌It covers everything from healthy weight, nutrition, and physical activity to taking folic acid, stopping smoking, reducing alcohol, keeping vaccinations up to date and supporting emotional wellbeing.

📖 Free printed booklets are also available (contact details below to access these):
Preparing for Pregnancy and your guide to a healthy, happy pregnancy!

🍼 The Emergency Infant Feeding Pathway is also available for any families in crisis, who may need support in accessing infant formula for babies under 12 months.

📅 Join a free 20-minute “Lunch & Learn” session in May, June, or July to find out more.

‼Safe and Sound are excited to share they have a wonderful open space for young people aged between 11-17 for any young people who may wish to attend.‼

These are available on 2 different days during the week to chose from weekly:
📆Mondays 3pm-5pm
📆Thursdays 5:30pm- 9pm

📍Address: Melbourne House, 8 Bold Lane, Derby DE1 3NT

📌Young people will have access to a kitchen where they can cook their own food, a PS5/other games to play on, a pool table, books to read or even just somewhere to charge their phones.

🍕Snacks and drinks will also be available for those attend these sessions. 🍕

‼During the Easter half term, YMCA Derbyshire will be running two free sessions for young people aged 11–14, with a “challenge bootcamp” theme. One session will be creatively focused, and the other will have a STEM focus. A hot meal will be provided for all attendees.‼

📅 When:
Tuesday 7th April and Wednesday 8th April
10:00am – 2:00pm

📍 Where:
Parcel Terrace Community Hub, DE1 1LY

📌Eligibility:
Open to young people from all schools who are receiving benefits-related free school meals.

Booking information:
Professionals supporting eligible families are asked to book places directly via their website using the code provided by the child’s school:
