Welcome to Celtic Capability Sailing
Hi, and welcome to our page. We’re glad you’ve found us.
Wendy Hopkins created Celtic Capability Sailing after her son, Tom had an accident in August 2016. He had been a professional sailor working on super yachts, but the brain injury he acquired as a result of his accident meant that he had a long road to travel before he was well enough to sail again.
Tom and Wendy, and all of the team, know that there are a wide range of people that would like to try sailing.
If you are looking for a sport that’s good for your physical and mental wellbeing, sailing could be just what you are looking for. If you are looking for a sailing organisation that will focus on your ability, rather than your background, experience or disability, then Celtic Capability Sailing is for you.
