A fantastic session in Worcester @ Arch 27 on Friday night. Boba & Bedazzling with a quiz too!

Thanks to the lovely Phoebe for helping us out again last minute! The girls have loved having her around this summer - such a positive role model.

We are hoping to be back in Worcester soon on a more regular basis so watch this space. But for now keep an eye on our socials & keep bedazzling!

💗 SUMMER OF THE GIRL – THAT’S A WRAP! 💗

After finishing our Summer of the Girl programme with a brilliant girls-only swimming party on Saturday, Summer of the Girl is officially over! 🥳🏊‍♀️

What a summer it has been!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who signed their daughter up, brought them along and supported us throughout the summer. We’ve loved seeing so many girls try new things, meet new people, make new friends and, most importantly, have fun! 💗

From Aerial Arts, kayaking and self-defence to Boba & Bedazzling, silent discos and our final pool party, it’s been a busy few weeks!

🥊 Dirty tricks are a last resort! 💪

This is what our girls learned on Friday during a brilliant session with the wonderful Hannah from Strike Back Self Defence for Women

The session was about so much more than physical self-defence. The girls learned how to use their voices and bodies to set clear boundaries, recognise when a situation doesn't feel right, and feel confident making themselves heard.

They also practised simple techniques to create space and opportunities to get away from an unsafe situation.

And if all else fails… they learned a few 'dirty tricks too!' 👀💪

A really practical, empowering session giving girls skills that we hope they'll never need to use, but confidence in knowing a few things they can do if they ever find themselves feeling unsafe. 💜

GCSE RESULTS DAY 🎉

We are taking a break from our Summer of the Girl posts to say a huge good luck to all of the young people receiving their GCSE results today! 💛

We know today can bring a real mix of emotions – excitement, nerves, relief, disappointment and everything in between.

Whatever is written on that piece of paper, remember that your results are just one part of your journey. There are so many different routes, opportunities and ways to get where you want to be.

To all the young people we’ve had the privilege of working with over the years – we’re rooting for you today and we hope you’re proud of how far you’ve come.

🥊 GIRLS’ PERSONAL SAFETY & SELF-DEFENCE with Strike Back Self Defence for Women 🥊

We’re really excited to be welcoming back Strike Back Self Defence for Women who have been working with InUnity and our girls since 2023.

Strike Back don’t teach choreographed moves or competitive sport. They teach the skills women and girls actually need — from the moment they notice something doesn’t feel right, to knowing what to do if a situation escalates.

Real-life skills for real-life situations!

This isn’t about learning to fight. It’s about helping girls feel safer, more confident and more aware when they’re out and about.

💪 Simple self-defence techniques
🗣️ Using their voice and setting boundaries
👀 Being more aware of their surroundings
🛡️ Knowing what to do if something doesn’t feel right
