There seem to be an awful lot of AI-generated images of “bats” on our feed. They are anatomically incorrect and seem to be designed to appeal to humans - big eyes in particular. They encourage people to think of bats as dolls/toys or pets instead of real, sentient creatures. Please don’t respond to these images, they feed on responses.

BrumBats: I try to at least "snooze" them from the feed, not least for the impact of AI ecologically but also to minimise pictures of "bats" held with no gloves, and risks of what the originators of the posts are trying to actually do in terms of "farming" the likes etc.
