Oh dear, poor bat. I've had to use one of the dead bat packs. He is an adult male common pipistrelle. He's probably cat caught, but oddly no external injuries and he's in good autumn condition. He was found on the ground in a garden.

Today we went back to St.Mary's to deliver to the Church Warden and the Administrator, Bats In Churches badges after I picked these up from the BCT team last weekend at conference.
We stayed for the service, the theme of which was fairness.

As it happens we chose number 2 of 3 cards, and it was a Daubenton's poem. Then we actually saw Daubenton's bats on Merecroft pool this evening.
