With the warm nights we're going to have, if a bat flies in an open window in the evening, flying after an insect that was coming into the light.

BLE finally released this evening.
The pictures show.
Transport cage firmly held next to the hot water bottle for the trip.
Car heater up to the max ( phew).

BLE now in BIG flexi cage so he gets more "flight time". As this species can fly slowly and futter, he does have space in here to fly. It would not necessarily suit another species in the same way.

At the Martineau Gardens Event yesterday I recommended the Haynes Build Your Own Bat Detector kit to a few people, as I have seen the detectors made by others, but not built it myself! Having checked online, it’s now made by ‘Eight’. I have purchased a kit to make my own over the bank holiday weekend next week 🦇❤️🦇
