Refugee Alliance Annual Picnic & Sports Day
Today, Refugee Alliance hosted our much-anticipated Annual Picnic and Sports Day a joyful celebration of community, culture, and connection. Families from Afghanistan and Syria came together for a day filled with laughter, fun, and friendship.
The event was a beautiful reflection of unity as both cultures shared their traditional foods, stories, and games. From friendly sports competitions to picnic blankets filled with delicious homemade dishes, the atmosphere was vibrant and full of life.
It was heartwarming to see families engaging with one another, children playing side by side, and smiles all around. Our dedicated staff were also part of the celebration, helping to make the day smooth, inclusive, and truly memorable.
A big thank you to everyone who made this special day possible. It was a powerful reminder of the strength found in community and the joy that comes from simply spending time together.
