A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers! 🌿💚

This week, the team continued their fantastic work clearing drains and sweeping the pathways to help keep the park safe, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone.

A special thanks also goes to the Friends of Holders Wood, who kindly lent us a drain clearance rig. With its help, our volunteers successfully removed a 10-foot root snake that had been blocking one of the drains! 👏

Your hard work and dedication make a real difference to Highbury Gardens every single week.

Please note: We currently have a waiting list for Monday volunteering opportunities with Highbury Gardens. We do have sessions on other days for different focussed activities. Thank you to everyone who has shown an interest in supporting the park—we're incredibly grateful for your enthusiasm! 🌳

A BIG thank you to another corporate volunteering team from Wesleyan for finishing our Himalayan Balsam bashing season off with a final pull in the woodlands.

We won't be disturbing any remaining plants this year as the seed pods are developing and disturbing them risks spreading more seeds for next year!
