Small Steps

Small Steps Small Steps is a Community Development Organisation located in North Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Small Steps was established to help address the identified educational deficit within the local community; and it is led entirely by local people who live in the area. We have over 80 years of experience of supporting individuals and communities through capacity building and community education. Our vision is to see the communities of Lower North Belfast fully regenerated and able to sit comfortably and confidently alongside all other communities in North Belfast.

Thank you again goes to Belfast City Council and Ulster-Scots Agency for funding our Summer School, the Summer School has been so beneficial to our children and families, we could not deliver this without the financial support from our funders. Also, thank you goes to our Tutors and Leaders over the last two weeks, your skills and dedication been invaluable 😊

This past couple of days the weans took part in some fun workshops......storytelling, living history, lambeg drumming, Ulster-Scots language and history and Ulster-Scots singing. Tomorrow is our final day and we finish with a day long trip.
