Young Farmers' Clubs of Ulster Northern Irelandโ€™s Largest Rural Youth Organisation With 3,600+ Members ๐Ÿค  YFCU has over 3,000 members aged 12- 30 years old.

The Young Farmers' Clubs of Ulster (YFCU) is an association of local clubs run by young people for young people. It welcomes members from all communities - the only qualification for membership is an interest in rural life. There are currently 58 active clubs in Northern Ireland. ๐‘๐ข๐œ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ ๐๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ž represented YFCU as President, with utmost pride and passion from 2024 - 2026. As he handed the role over to fellow member ๐Š๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐š ๐…๐ฅ๐ž๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐  at our AGM in April 2026, he received a standing ovation from the crowd as members showed their appreciation for his leadership and dedication to the organisation.

Roberta Simmons, our membership development manager has been busy over the last number of months working with schools to establish new 'farming clubs'. The aim is to introduce young people to agriculture, rural life and the many opportunities available within the agri-food industry. The initiative also seeks to strengthen links between schools and local Young Farmers' Clubs, helping to inspire the next generation of members and rural leaders.
