**THANK YOU POST**
Last Saturday we completed our annual bucket collection on the streets of Belfast. We are delighted to confirm that the collection raised a fantastic £1023.39! 🥰🙌 These funds will help us to continue providing emotional support to our callers, day and night, at their time of need.

We would like to thank all of our volunteers, along with their friends and family, for coming out to make the collection a success! We would also like to thank all of you who generously donated and shared words of kindness & appreciation in support of our charity and the work we do. 🙏💚

**THANK YOU POST**
We would like to extend a massive thank you to all the wonderful volunteers from the Samaritans NI branches who came together to help support us last week at the Fleadh Cheoil Belfast 2026. They had a successful few days engaging with the public and sharing our message that we are always here to listen.

A special thanks also go to our Festival Branch volunteers who came from all branches over Samaritans Ireland. They where out on the streets of the city providing emotional support to those who needed it. Thank you to each and every one of you for everything you do! 🙏💚

The Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026 is in full swing in our lovely city of Belfast. Keep an eye out for our Festival branch volunteers who will be on the streets of the city on Friday and Saturday to provide emotional support for anyone who needs it. Many of our other branches are visiting to share the message of Samaritans and the work we do, based down on High Street so why not come and say hello! 😁🙌🎻🪗💚

Samaritans Awareness Day takes place on Friday, July 24th (24/7), marking the fact that Samaritans is there for anyone struggling to cope, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on freephone 116 123.

At Belfast Samaritans, our volunteers are here to listen – day or night.

💚 Need someone to listen? Samaritans are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Call us on 116 123

💚 And if you've ever wondered what it's like to be one of the people answering those calls, why not consider volunteering with us? Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and full training and ongoing support are provided. You don't need to be an expert – just someone willing to listen with empathy.
