Following the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster last November and the widespread screening of the film made from that briefing up and down the country, the next step is to call on the government to hold a UK-wide national public briefing to raise the public's awareness of the crises we face and the government's plans and responses to them.

🪡 Join us in United Stitches at Climate Hub Bath! 👘✨

This Thursday 28th May, we’re hosting a relaxed drop-in gathering at the Hub, creating small stitched patches in preparation for the arrival of the beautiful Coat of Hopes 💚

The Coat arrives in Bath on 19th June, journeys to Stonehenge for Solstice, then returns to Climate Hub Bath where it will be on display from 22nd June – 1st July.

Whether you sew regularly or haven’t picked up a needle in years, you’re warmly welcome. Even a few stitches can become part of something collective, meaningful and hopeful 🌍🧵

🪡 No experience needed
💚 Materials, conversation and creativity shared

And this is just the beginning — in June we’ll also be hosting a mending and patch-making session, celebrating repair, care and collective action.

Now it’s coming to Bath 💚

Join us at Roper Theatre at Hayesfield School in Bath on Thursday 4th June for a special community screening hosted by Climate Hub alongside local partners and fellow community members ✨

This compelling 50-minute briefing brings together leading UK experts to unpack the realities of:

⚠️ Extreme weather
🌾 Food security
🩺 Health
💷 The cost of living
🌿 Nature loss
🤝 Community resilience

But this isn’t just about understanding the crisis — it’s about creating space for honest conversation, connection and collective action at a local level 💬🌱

As part of our collaboration with our friends Bath Welcomes Refugees and the inspiring campaign, people have been sharing beautiful reflections, hopes, dreams and messages of solidarity around climate migration and our shared future 🌿💬

From heartfelt orange hearts to meaningful conversations (and yes… orange biscuits too 🍊🍪), it’s becoming a really special space already.

The installation is running NOW until next Wednesday — so come on down, add your own message, meet the teams, and be part of a growing wave of hope and action 🌎💛

Come by the Hub, meet our teams, learn about climate migration and hopefuly stories, and fill out one of our lovely orange hearts with your thoughts:

🌱🍎 As another option to our wonderful plant sale at the hub, do head over and join along with our good friends at for a beautiful day of community farming, nature connection and hands-on learning in the countryside! 🌿✨

As part of their new series of Community Farming Festival Days, Avonleigh Orchards are opening up the farm for a free, family-friendly day designed to bring people together around food, seasonal activities and wellbeing 🌼

Expect:
🚶 Guided walks through the nature-friendly farm
🥕 Hands-on no dig & min-till growing activities
🌳 Exploring the orchard ecosystem
