New free Train-the-Trainers Safer Injecting course from Mat Southwell and Coact. Wednesday and Thursday this week running in morning and afternoon Europe time. Graduates access the training toolkit - presentation, training tools, and trainers guide.
💉🩸 Safer Injection T-O-T Course 💉🩸
Coact developed a one day training course for harm reduction practitioners and peer workers to learn about the circulation system, types of needles and syringes including low dead space options, and how to support safer preparation and administration of substances for injection and safe disposal practices.
Mat Southwell and other expert peer trainers will be running this Two-Part Virtual Training Course over two (2) consecutive days. AM and PM options are available for both course sessions.
Participants of the course will learn course content themselves, as well as how to facilitate the course for others. Graduates will have exclusive access to the training program, presentation and trainers guide. The Safer Injection presentation has technically accurate, non-stigmatizing images illustrated by a community-led designer and is easily translated into other languages.
