We are looking to host a family fun day in July and are seeking any business owners who would be willing to help sponsor the event or contribute to the event sponsorship in return for advertisement both prior to event and on the day

Spotlight UK have partnered with Merlin Magic Wand to provide free fun days out to one of the Merlin theme parks and attractions like Chessington, Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Warwick Castle, Shrek Adventures for children and their families who meet the criteria below to help to create new special memories and bring smiles.

CHILDREN MUST NOT HAVE HAD FREE TICKETS THROUGH MERLIN MAGIC WAND OR SPOTLIGHT UK BEFORE AND MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA

To be eligible for a Magical Day Out, the child you’re applying for must meet following requirements:

Age Requirement

Must be at least 2 years old and no older than 18 at the time of application

NOT HAVE HAD FREE TICKETS BEFORE THROUGH SPOTLIGHT OR MERLIN MAGIC WAND

Current Circumstances.....

The child must currently be experiencing one or more of the following:

Living with a serious. terminal illness or long-term illness

Has a registered long term physical disability

Lives in a permanent or temporary care home

Currently in foster care

Has been recently adopted
Please note: The adoption must have occurred within the last 5 years.

Affected by domestic violence or abuse

Has a parent or legal guardian who is terminally ill

Has a sibling, parent, or legal guardian who has recently passed away

Registered young carer

HI EVERYONE

Pop into Festival Place tomorrow and Saturday between 11-4pm and join the fun with Festival Place's Keys to Kindness.

Then pop by the Spotlight UK Stall outside Marks & Spencer and grab a free give away bag of goodies for your children.

Feel good at Festival Place as you combine retail therapy with community impact! Why not try your luck in our Keys to Kindness interactive treasure hunt around the mall on 28th and 30th May between 11am and 4pm? We’ll have vintage-style keys hidden at checkouts in stores, restaurants/cafes, and leisure. Simply ask the team if they have a ‘key for kindness’.

Once you find a key, head to the concierge desk in Porchester Square, log in, and try your key in a door*! If you’re lucky, you unlock a £5 donation for our charity of choice, Spotlight UK. There’ll be a treat or discount for you to win too!

A light-hearted and fun way to explore Festival Place, with the chance to win for you and for charity!

Keys to Kindness | Festival Place

Discounted and free family fun this May half term when booking through Spotlight UK.

Our charity helps with the cost of activities so we offer discount activities and then we pay the difference.

Spaces are booked through us by emailing [email protected] and will be offered on a first come first served basis.

All activities close off for bookings the day before activities.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported our charity shop in April whether this was through donating items or buying items.

With your help we were able to fund 150 children into a free bowling session, 80 children into a free Ice Skating session. These children included children in care, young carers, children affected by domestic abuse, children affected by loss and children with long term disabilities or terminal illness.

We were also able to subsidise a further 80 children into other fun activities sessions to help with the cost.

Thank you for helping to create new positive memories.

Can you help?

On 21st June, The team at Wates Residential will be cycling from London to Brighton to help raise money for Spotlight UK's Scarlett's Smiles.

The money raised will support children in care, children affected by domestic abuse, children with long term disabilities or terminal illness, children affected by loss to help create positive new memories.

Health & Wellbeing Special Draw, where 10 charities with a focus on health and wellbeing will each receive £5,000.

This special draw is open to charities whose core charitable purpose is the advancement of health including disability support, the prevention or relief of sickness or disease and the promotion of health.
