Basingstoke Community Wardrobe Welcome to Basingstoke Community Wardrobe - a place to swap, donate or purchase affordable good quality used or new but donated clothing, shoes. Thank you!

We are based at Eastrop and are part of Viables Community Association. The Basingstoke Community Wardrobe is set up in order to help reduce waste that goes to landfill, as well as to provide affordable good condition used clothing at a time where rising costs of living are making us all feel the pinch. The wardrobe is open to all and our current opening times make it available during weekday morni

ngs due to the kindness of our volunteers. Feel free to let us know if you have time to help us, maybe of an evening or a weekend. Our costs are low and, for those who really are stretched to limited funds, we are happy for you to make a donation or purely make a swap of another item. We just ask that items donated are in good clean condition, with no rips or stains. Please help us make a difference to those in the community by supporting the wardrobe.

Almost time for back to school, hope you've all had a wonderful summer.

We have a good selection of school uniform at the wardrobe, all ages, both boys and girls, we know how expensive uniform is, so this could be a good option especially for spares.

The wardrobe has slightly different opening hours at the moment, as we are short staffed, but if anyone is interested, please comment on post or call us on 01256 473634 and we would be happy to open for you.

We are so grateful for all your support, but at the moment we are unable to take more donations UNLESS they are men's clothing, which we are a little short of. We are unable to take donations out of office hours so please only drop off when someone is in the office to avoid trip hazards in our walkways.

What we DO need is some volunteer support to help us on a Monday and Tuesday between 10 and 12. If you are able to help sort and hang clothes we would love to hear from you.
