Feathery creatures and lots of wide-eyed wonder...

Recently, some of the children and families we support had the opportunity to get up close to some amazing birds of prey at The Bluebells, thanks to the wonderful team at Berkshire Birds of Prey.

For one evening, The Bluebells looked a little more like a Greek island than rural Hampshire.

A huge thank you to the brilliant team at PSCo, who spent their volunteering day helping transform the space ahead of our Mamma Mia! open-air cinema night.

At one of our recent sibling camp outs, a group of children got chatting about their brothers and sisters.

They talked about some of the challenges of having a sibling with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, but also about what they love most about them - finding common ground through shared experiences and having the kind of conversation that can happen when siblings are given the space to connect.

Camp-out season doesn’t happen by magic... it starts with a lot of tent pegs and a lot of teamwork 🏕️

Thank you to the fantastic team at Centrica for helping us get sibling camp-out ready.

From unloading kit to putting up tents, they helped transform The Bluebells into a welcoming space for siblings to have fun, connect and enjoy time together.

Mamma Mia under the umbrellas ☔️🎬 Not even rain could dampen the spirit at our outdoor cinema night! The Bluebells was transformed into a Greek island for the night, with screening kindly provided by Kinly. Our guests sang along, danced in the drizzle, and helped us raise an incredible £1,800 for families we support. Thank you to everyone who came, and to everyone who made it all happen 💙

On Saturday, our friends at The Fox Pub North Waltham are hosting a beer festival & family fun day in support of Sebastian’s Action Trust. Starting at 11am, there’ll be a BBQ, bouncy castle, stalls, plenty for the children and, of course, something for the beer enthusiasts too.

Just a stone’s throw from The Bluebells, it’s a great opportunity to get together with friends and neighbours, enjoy a day out and support local families along the way.

Huge thanks to everyone at The Fox for choosing to support us. We can’t wait to see the community come together for what’s set to be a fantastic day! 💙
