This Volunteers' Week, we want to say a huge thank you to every volunteer who supports the work of Sebastian’s Action Trust.

Over the past year, this incredible team have contributed an amazing 4,923 hours of their time – the equivalent of £62,000 in value to the charity. An extraordinary achievement that reflects the dedication, kindness and generosity at the heart of our volunteer community.

Whether you’ve helped at events, supported family activities, shared skills, offered practical assistance, or simply been there to listen, your contribution makes a real difference to the families we support.

We’re also grateful to the corporate teams, trusts, foundations and partners who volunteer alongside us and help strengthen our wider community of support.

Every hour given, every helping hand and every act of kindness helps ensure families feel welcomed, supported and cared for when they need it most.

From all of us at Sebastian’s Action Trust, thank you for everything you do. We couldn’t do it without you. 💙

Fancy doing something a bit different on a Thursday evening?

HILS - Hampshire Law Society is hosting a relaxed Paint with Pals night at The Bluebells - an evening of painting, chatting, tea drinking and giving something creative a go, whether you’re a seasoned artist or haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school.

It’s open to everyone (not just Hampshire Law Society members) and all proceeds will support Sebastian’s Action Trust and the families we work with.

If you haven’t heard... Christmas in July is BACK this summer 🎄✨

One of our favourite days of the year returns on Sunday 12 July, bringing festive fun into the height of summer at Ascot Racecourse - a relaxed, feel-good family day with fairground rides, birds of prey and reptiles, a petting zoo, crafts, live music, dancing and performances all running throughout the afternoon, giving everyone plenty to explore at their own pace.

12–2pm is exclusive access for supported families (with friends and extended family welcome - tickets apply), then 2–5pm we open the gates to everyone.

Half term and a heatwave made the perfect setting for a sensory and craft session at The Bluebells ☀️

From paint and bubbles to plenty of water to keep cool, it was a lively mix of sensory play, creativity and laughter. While the children explored, parents had time to chat and relax. A bright, joyful half term afternoon 💙

We had a fantastic evening at the HILS - Hampshire Law Society Annual Dinner & Awards earlier this week.

A huge thank you to President Theresa Mills and Vice President Naomi Taylor-Davis for inviting us, and to everyone who made us feel so welcome on the night. It was a real privilege to be part of such a warm and generous evening.

Thanks to the incredible support on the night, the charity raffle raised an amazing £1,210 for the families we support. We’re so grateful to everyone who bought tickets, donated prizes, or took the time to learn more about our work - it really does make a difference.

It was also lovely to connect with so many fantastic organisations too. A really special evening that shows what community support looks like in action. Thank you again for including us 💙

🐝 We’re buzzing with excitement that will be joining us at The Bluebells fete! 🚌

Their amazing play bus will be bringing BIG fun for little adventurers, with plenty to explore, play and enjoy, guaranteed entertainment for the kids throughout the afternoon!
